Peyote Ceremonies in Tenerife
January 10 - 12, 2025
With Hugo Pájaro from Mexico
When explaining the effects and outcomes of peyote within a cultural context—such as in Mexico, where its use is integrated into traditions and teachings from a young age—it is important to use clear, respectful, and culturally adapted language.
Let’s explore some of these effects:
Expansion of sensory perception: Greater sensitivity to sounds, colors, and textures.
Deep relaxation: A sense of calm and inner peace.
Body awareness: Attention to how the body feels and its movements.
Gentle visual effects: The appearance of patterns or images with closed eyes.
Focus on internal emotions: An exploration of feelings and memories.
Connection with nature: A deeper understanding and respect for the natural environment.
Light energy activation: A sensation of balanced energy.
It is often the case that, after concluding the ceremony, our capacities expand.
Here are some examples:
Connection with ancestral wisdom: Understanding the stories and teachings passed down by elders.
Strengthening family and community bonds: Active participation in shared traditions.
Development of values: Such as respect, gratitude, and care for others.
Emotional clarity: Learning to identify and process feelings.
Spiritual growth: Reflections on the meaning of life and one’s place in the world.
Openness to learning: Increased interest and curiosity about culture and spirituality.
Appreciation of nature: Reinforcing respect for plants and animals as sacred beings.
