Ancient Rites
The ancient rites were magico-religious rituals when pregnancy, childbirth, initiation, marriage, funerals, separation, liminality, incorporation, psicomagic passages and healings.
These ancient rites still prevail in societies which have protected their ancestral ways of connecting with invisible forces that got them in touch with the magic to keep a good health, to treat illnesses, to deal with death, to understand the cosmos, the nature, the existence.
Since the dawn of time, from the beginning of the rituals around the world, commonly called shamanic ones, later paganism the first one and oldest discovered was in Israel 800.000years ago. Our primitives ancestors, Homo erectus, Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens have practised them and our current generations are also co creators. A legacy transfered from one generation to the another that it is of high importance for a humanity that should not ignore its culture, its original ways of healings than provide the answers to illnesses that occidental medicine do not understand and in many cases can not heal.
The ancestral Ways
Tribes from countries worldwide discovered specific plants and animals that cured diseases. From the noblest to the most poisonous, our grandparents collected the fruits, branches, leaves, flowers and roots with beneficial effects for any part of the body. Disease can manifest physiologically or psychologically. The cure began with the more subtle herbs. If there was no improvement in the patient, the shaman prescribed a more complex elixir and would performed rites close to altered states of consciousness.
